Why Oracle Cloud & AAIS Global
JODC wanted a single system to manage all their leasing and rental property data. The initial goal was just to streamline the leasing process but later on the team realized that they needed to introduce some enhancements. This level of transformation required cloud- based ERP platform so Oracle Fusion was recommended. Other ERP systems were compared for this purpose. However, Oracle Enterprise contracts were used for this purpose. The key areas for value addition were:
- Migration from SAP to Oracle: JODC was using SAP on-premise ERP but as their business was expanding and more properties were added they needed Oracle to manage them.
- Property leasing: JODC handles multiple properties and it was challenging for them to manage the rental and leasing part of all of them. AAIS mapped their requirement in the ‘standard module’ of ‘Oracle service contracts’ to manage all these Lease and rental contracts.
- Complex subcontracting solution: JODC subcontracted almost 60% of its work and needed to track the entire work progress including financials (IPC), budget overruns, etc.
- Module offering: AAIS offered Oracle Procurement, Project portfolio management, Financials, service contracts, and HCM.
- Implementation: The preferred mode of implementation was Hybrid i.e., JODC onsite and AAIS Offshore office. The entire project had expert consultants deployed onsite & offshore. ‘Timeline for implementation was 12 weeks’.
- Complexity: Since JODC is engaged with multiple suppliers they had complex scenarios like supplier statements in the system for external and internal suppliers
